Former history teacher turned fledgling games journalist, Ashton's passion for video games and the games industry has its roots in his first gaming experience, Spyro the Dragon. Since then he has seen the art form evolve into the most beautiful and engaging entertainment medium ever created. His favorite games have now expanded to include titles like Kingdom Hearts II, Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, Elden Ring, The Last of Us Part II, Civilization V, and Skyrim.
