Dive into the darkness headfirst with a new update for Dead by Daylight. A new modifier titled Lights Out was released just yesterday.
Dive into this new modifier and enhance the fear. With Lights Out, players will immediately find that there is a new filter darkening the environment. That’s not all the modifier offers, as the user interface has also been limited. This information comes from a press statement by Behaviour Interactive.
To reinvent the gameplay of Dead by Daylight, perks that players have come to enjoy have all been disabled. The killer will no longer have a terror radius. No more hints at when to expect the killer means the player will have to wait, listen, and pay more attention to their surroundings.
There are some positive changes made to help the survivors as well — they will no longer leave scratch marks, meaning the killers will also have to pay more attention and not rely on the game’s help. Treasure chests are also more prevalent, with higher-quality loot helping survivors escape and outlive the terrifying darkness.
Dead by Daylight’s Lights Out will run from February 7 to February 14. Jump in now, as the update is already underway.
