New spirits are ready for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, now featuring characters from the main series games of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. After more spirits were already implemented into the game about a month ago, this next inclusion adds to the complete roster available to collect and use in battle.
The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC will also be covered within this limited-time event. Players will be able to challenge Pokemon such as “Koraidon and Miraidon,” “Ogerpon,” “Terapagos,” and “Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly.” These four exclusive spirits will be available on the spirit board for five days once the event begins on February 9 and will last all the way to February 14.
What this might suggest is that support for the hit Nintendo party game (at least with regards to spirits) hasn’t ended just yet— but that’s not all. Something else to look forward to for the future of the game may be closer around the corner than you think.
The Sora Amiibo is set to officially release on February 16, and it may just arrive with a new patch to the game like it has for past Amiibo launches. Whether this will happen on the very day of release or not is purely up to speculation. However, many are hoping for new “balance patches” after the game’s last update — version 13.0.1 — all the way back on December 1, 2021.
