We have been hearing the rumors. Many fans of the franchise have been asking for it. Now, due to a recent tweet from a reliable Xbox leaker, we may be closer than ever. Crash may be coming to Xbox Game Pass early August.
If you’ve followed Xbox news for any recent stretch of time, you have probably noticed that news for the company seems to go up and down like a roller coaster ride. Following a recent confirmation of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 being added to Game Pass, leaker eXtas1s seems to be on a roll with another one for us. He tweets the following on July 23.
“100% CONFIRMED. Crash Bandicoot n sane trilogy will be available on Gamepass [sic] on August 8, 2024. I’m going to remember it because I didn’t post an individual tweet about it and perhaps some have not seen the video where I mentioned it, I give myself the luxury of confirming it as well.”
This leaker also happened to be the same one that leaked MW3 to Game Pass and was correct. So, we are feeling hopeful that he’s correct again. Since Microsoft completed its purchase of Activision, which seems so long ago, fans of the Crash franchise have been clamoring for a Game Pass announcement for these games. But it’s not just the Crash fans that want their game on Game Pass, Activision has many franchises, both old and new, that deserve their own special Game Pass announcement. One day we will get those franchises over on Game Pass too, but it seems we need patience for it. Microsoft is sure taking their time delivering.
For now, though there seems to be hope for Crash Bandicoot fans. Let us eagerly await an official announcement from Xbox and Activision. Keep August 8 circled on your calendars folks, it might be a big day.
