Bethesda only stored 20GB of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on-disc, the rest needs to be downloaded. To be clear, the studio confirmed a download would be required.
An unboxing video shared by Retro Game Future ended with a showcase of just how little is on the disc. For comparison’s sake, the title is a whopping 133.9GB. Frankly, it’s wild that the storage on the disc is that small, considering the average game disc can hold around 100GB, meaning the team purposefully undercut what is allocated on-disc.
Regardless, in our Indiana Jones and the Great Circle review, we said: “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a masterclass in faithfully adapting and elevating a beloved franchise. The title impresses with its first-person exploration and immersion, set pieces, level design, storytelling, and presentation. However, enemy AI inconsistencies, the lack of manual saves, and occasional performance mishaps leave just a few dents into this otherwise engrossing experience.”
