UK-based 10:10 Games is raring to debut its new game, Funko Fusion, which is a mishmash of pop culture IPs thrown into one world. The studio head is the same man who founded TT Games, Jon Burton, and joined with co-founder Arthur Parsons, who was the head of design at the studio.
This isn’t the first we’ve heard of Funko Fusion, it was at least in the public’s mind since 2022 when 10:10 revealed it was partnering with Funko on an action platformer. It wasn’t until last year that we got a glimpse at what was to come, including that it will have co-op. Now, we’ve gotten even more IPs to expect and a harder set release date of September 2024.
Based on a press release shared on 10:10’s website, IPs will range from Child’s Play, The Thing, and Jaws, to the likes of Masters of the Universe, Shaun of the Dead, Battlestar Galactica, and many more.
It also appears the game is heading to most major platforms — current and past-gen PlayStation consoles, PC, Switch, and current-gen Xbox. Not really sure why Xbox One is being excluded, but that’s neither here nor there.
If it’s caught your attention, you can pre-order the game from select retailers while online pre-orders are set to open up sometime “soon.” As a pre-order bonus, those who do will get special pack themed after The Walking Dead, including two playable characters in Rick Grimes and Michonne Hawthorne.
