In a follow-up discussion to our exclusive interview, Casper Croes and Arisa reveal they are already planning for a new Alisa DLC while providing character model and play-testing work for a new horror roguelike game called Rogue Mansion.
The Alisa DLC, however, is still in the planning stages meaning that it is subject to change. Nonetheless, there are some exciting news, including the fact that the DLC will focus on a new character and combat. The story will also take place during the same events of Alisa. Casper and Arisa had this to say:
The DLC is an extra separate story, very linear in its gameplay and more focused on combat. We haven’t really started the development yet, only some writing and planning. This expansion will be set during the same events of Alisa but focused on another character.
Casper and Arisa also revealed they are providing their contribution on a new upcoming indie survival horror game called Rogue Mansion. This is a first and third-person shooter with roguelike elements where the procedurally generated mansion changes every time you play. The mansion also becomes more dangerous according to your level of fear. This is developed by Almenara Games, although there is no official release date yet. Casper revealed that it will be “a roguelike” version of classic survival horror.
Rogue Mansion will be a roguelike version of classic survival horror. There are no fixed camera angles, but you can play third person over the shoulder or in first person! It’s a very challenging game, but of what I play-tested so far I think it’s really fun and addicting!
The future is looking positive for Team Casper-Arisa. We’ll keep you updated on how things progress.
