There is awesome news for gamers who have been waiting to try the once-derided and now-celebrated Cyberpunk 2077 — a free trial is on the way, and it’s sooner than you may think. Available from March 28 until March 31, players will be able to experience the redemption of CD Projekt Red’s title.
This news comes thanks to an update from CD Projekt on Cyberpunk’s website. Players will be allowed access to the game for five hours, and this trial will not require having PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass. The free trial is only applicable to current generation consoles. Any progress made within the trial will carry over to the game, and of course, this trial is only applicable to the base game.
This trial will be the most up-to-date version of the game, meaning it will include all of the gameplay overhauls and major changes made by the 2.0 update and also include the metro system and radioport that were introduced in the 2.1 update.
New players are encouraged to check out the comprehensive game booklet and guide from developer CD Projekt Red. This booklet includes things like build guides for V, insight from the development team, and a breakdown of how jokes were localized, among many other cool and interesting topics.
Get ready to dive into Night City Chooms and let the hours fly by as you experience everything paradise has to offer.
