Cloud Jumper and Big Crown developer Hyper Luminal Games is inviting players to meet Tyke and see the start of his journey in a demo of its part of Steam Next Fest, Pine Hearts. The game is published the developer’s own publishing label, Little Nook.
In a press release, it’s revealed the game is going to be part of Steam Next Fest, which is right around the corner — February 5-12. The game itself is presented as a love letter to those who have “experienced loss and want to find a wholesome refuge to unwind and remember fond memories.”
Pine Hearts slaps you in the role of Tyke, who is on an adventure to explore Caravan Park, a picturesque place full of secrets and winding, unlockable paths. In the demo itself, you’ll be introduced to the protagonist as well as explore the first region of the game, help an eccentric camper track a mysterious woodland monster, gather firewood, munch on some marshmallows, reflect on the main character’s time in the park as a child, and more.
More Smash Jump: Spec Ops: The Line director was “devastated” at the sudden delisting, Julian reviews “Pokemon with guns” Palworld, and Celeste has a 3D spin-off now.
