Developer DON’T NOD is quite the worker bee developer, with Jusant just released back in October and Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden on the horizon, now it also has revealed Lost Records: Bloom and Rage. It’s poised to be a narrative-driven title.
Announced during The Game Awards, the French studio’s Canadian subsidiary is developing this narrative, with the minds behind Life is Strange taking the bulk of the process. The game focuses on a quartet of high school friends who grew distant for over two decades before reuniting under not-so-ideal circumstances, forcing them to “that made them promise to never speak again.”
Lost Records: Bloom and Rage will seeth “magical realism.” Managing Director at DON’T NOD Montréal, Frédérique Fourny-Jennings, explained that the Canada-based subsidiary has been working on building the studio to have the same values as DON’T NOD and felt it was the perfect place for a brand-new IP. It’s also not too far off with its scheduled release late next year to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
