In response to less-than-stellar responses from its closed beta, Tripwire Interactive has put a delay on Killing Floor 3 until later this year. This delay will give it time to polish the game’s common complaints from the closed beta.
On Twitter, Tripwire revealed the game was going to get delayed to an unspecified time later this year. This decision was fully backed by parent company Embracer Group. The game itself is meant to not just serve as an “ambitious step forward” for the franchise but also “maintain the core experience” of the game.
Components including UI, lighting, performance, weapon feel, and more are all in line to get modified.
We’re sure this is disappointing to those who were excited to see what Tripwire had cooking, but at least it’s in response to community outcry rather than setting an unreasonable deadline.
