Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will have 3 hours of cinematics

MachineGames’ Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is going to contain three hours of cinematics across its runtime. We’re still gonna hold on to some skepticism, but at least there will be some good ol’ cinematics mixed in there.

In a Rolling Stone interview, Todd Howard himself explains that the game will have all those cinematics, all of which will reflect what players know about the film. The game is also not going to be a one-to-one accurate representation, but rather it’s all about nailing the spirit of the IP.

“I think in both cases, you have to ignore the original presentation and think about the world and characters…”

Considering the game has three hours of cinematics, we wouldn’t be surprised if we get something that could be akin to the iconic Nazi face melt scene, but at the same time, the team seems rather hesitant to explain much.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle releases to PC and Xbox Series X|S on December 9 with a PS5 version coming in spring 2025.
